Instructions:

Application forms along with prospectus is available at The Directorate of Distance Education (Head Office) Main Campus Gomal University and at Distance Education (Sub  Office), CIty Campus Gomal University on payment of Rs. 200/-. The form can also be downloaded from the Directorate's  website www.degu.edu.pk. Filled forms along with attested copies of all the requisite documents should be sent to the directorate along with Bank draft of Rs. 200/- (in favor of Director Finance, Gomal University) on or before 21-01-2012 (For M.Ed Only) during office hours. Time barred (even if mailed earlier) and incomplete applications will not be entertained. All applications be sent / submitted direct to The Director, Distance Education, Gomal University.  

  1. Prospective student will submit admission form to the Directorate of Distance Education.
  2. Admission committee comprising of members from Directorate of Distance Education and the department concerned will scrutinize and short list the students.
  3. Once selected, The Distant education students will go through a registration process as per University rules set for the regular students.

  4. The Directorate will collect the information required for student ID cards and will pass on this information to the relevant departments of the University at the initial stage.

  5. The university will issue student identity card to the distant students listing

    • Computerized National Identity card number

    • Name

    • Father’s Name

    • Brief Program details

    • Student ID No

    • Date of Validity

  6. The Directorate will coordinate with Admission/Registrar concerned office of the University for admission of distant students.

  7. The final admission list will be issued by the registrar office The university will issue registration cards to the distance students.

  8. The maximum number of seats allotted to each subject will be 100.
