Department of Political Science

The Department of Public Administration is one of the pioneer institutions of Gomal University which started functioning soon after the inception of the University in 1974. It is providing the best possible quality education especially in the field of management science. It has gained the reputation for its high academic standards, excellent discipline, and good infrastructure. The department has produced more than four hundred diligent, promising and effective executives. Most of them holding responsible positions in various government and non- government organizations. The department also offers M.Phil/Ph.D Programs in the field of Management and Administration.

The department introduced M.A Pol. Science program for the first time. The inauguration ceremony took place on 15^th November 2010.The program  is designed to help the students understand the importance of politics and democracy in their lives, contemporary public policy, and the means of influencing government to respond to collective needs.

Eligibility Criteria:

1: Atleast 2^nd division in aggregate.

2: B.A with Political Science/International Relations/Pre-Law/History/Pak- Studies and having not less than 45% marks in B.A and 40% marks in other subjects.

3: No age limit.
